I
like working in the studio and having complete control over the outcome of
the final image. To start with a blank space, then compose the still, the lighting
the angle in which to shoot from. I try to use symbolism in my stills, so that
a viewer can appreciate the image aesthetically but can also read more into
it if they wish.
Recent still commissions include the archaeology department of the Peterborough
Museum and City Art Gallery to photograph selected objects from the Neolithic
period for an exhibition scheduled for October 2005.
